First, just to give you a taste what kind of physics I am interested in, I will talk for a few minutes about my favorite dimensional analysis problem. Then, I will give an easy (based on symmetry arguments and dimensional analysis) introduction to (conformal) relativistic hydrodynamics with an emphasis put on the role of string theory methods in latest developments.
